Calendar with personal domain email

I have a domain name with email, now I want to be able to have a calendar on this email that syncs between my mac and my Dndroid phone.

I have setup Outlook 2011 on the mac, which I quite like, and I installed the Outlook app on my Android, which apparently results in the Outlook calendar showing up on the Android calendar, it did this once and now it isn't doing it anymore.

Can someone help/suggest the way to go here?

One way that will work really well is to pay Google $5 a month for Google Apps. That way you keep your domain name email but have all of Google's services available.
