Anyone know of a program that would allow me to create a shared calender where I can set all the relevant reminders which will bring a pop up message so that the user will have to click " close " " dismiss" etc ?

I will need to share the calender with the relevant users and they will also need to get those pop up reminders

I'm having no joy with outllook 2010/2013 , TIA

Use a publicly-shared Google calendar, then add it as an Internet Calendar in Outlook for each user using the shared link (which Google will give you in that calendar's preferences).

I'm sure you can Google how to do this, let me know which step you get stuck at.

Thank you guys for the info

@Dean - will do if I struggle :D , thanks again

While my way should work in theory, for some reason Outlook doesn't actually let you edit the calendar - it's read-only. Google do provide a Sync option with their Apps for Business package, but that, since last December, incurs a monthly fee.

The other alternative is to move away from Outlook completely; to Thunderbird. TB's add-on called "Lightning" does this for free and it's awesome (and it also obviously updates to and from mobile devices aswell).
