Call for early payday this week

While the day origniated in the United States as a day for older stock to be sold at massive discounts ahead of newer stock coming in for the festive season, the shopping trend has migrated to other markets, including South Africa.
First off you spelt originated wrong, and secondly it started off because the preceding Thursday is Thanksgiving, the last major holiday before Christmas. Also a lot of people either called in sick on the Friday or were given the day off.

Cultural appropriation at its finest. :)

To be honest if the day you get paid dictates if you are able to participate in this "sale" you are not in a good financial position and should just pass...

nah I say let the dumb masses squander

98.9% of the country won't agree with you.

the other 1.1% just left in their private jet ;)

Jissis Mybroadband, did you accidentally publish this under BusinessTech and not DailyInvestor?

This Laurian is a prize idiot and doesn't deserve airtime.

Lol, I tried ordering today managed to get a chromecast with Google tv for r549 + delivery r59....not bad price but they cancelled the order saying I used unfair methods to purchase the deal, whatever that means.
How did you purchase it?

We are getting paid a few days earlier, on BF, but not for BF, but because December we are getting paid on the 14th, so it doesn't make sense paying us the 28th of November and then again the 14th of December and then the 29th of January 2024. That is just a super long Januworry then. So that was moved earlier as well and then in Feb 2024 we catch up again.

What difference does this make?

You can get as technical as you want about when payday is and what difference it makes, the fact is for most it does. Why not make all debit orders on the 13th of every month, or better, just any random day. What does it matter.

amen, but if you're that bad at financial discipline you are precisely the kind of idiot that would fall for fake black Friday specials

so the scammers that want you to fall for their fake black Friday specials would naturally want you to be paid in time to get scammed

I used my card to pay, What I thought they meant was how I was able to get the deal/check it out.....which was get a notification from onedayonly, refresh on my pc find the deal and check it out....that's how it's obviously done! So still confused about that, I emailed and pm on different platforms without any explanation from them.

That doesn't sound irregular at all.
