Call Forwarding via MMI code - does it cost money

Hi All

I found an Android app for call forwarding:

basically, we want our consultants to enable it when they are in meetings with clients, so that the calls get diverted to our client service centre.

It uses MMI codes to communicate the call forward to the network.

Is there a cost associated to call forwarding for the person forwarding the call?

Q: What is call divert or call forwarding?
A: Call diversion or call forwarding means re - directing your calls to your answering machine (Voice Mailbox) or to another number, which will be specified by you.
Please note that you incur normal cellular call charges when you divert your calls to another number besides your voice mailbox.
