Depends on the type of job and whether it's a business customer or a residential customer and the for some who the business is. I have seen fees from R100 an hour to R 500 an hour.
I always understood the call out fee to be a fixed price. Basically the fee for coming out to the premises separate to the actual charge for services rendered. So depending on the distance to the location of the call out, anything from R50 to R100. I charge clients in my immediate area R50 mostly as a deterrent as I would rather have them come to me. Though I remember being charged R180 once for a call out by the company who came to install my DSTV. I was very upset as in their case they have come out to the premises.
call out R100 as said above, mainly just to get clients to come to me. R185 per hour on top of that for labour. If its something very quick & simple like reseting a router etc etc dont charge labour
