Call quality issues

Dear Vodacom rep.

I have severe call quality issues in New Redruth, Alberton. I've tried 2 SIMs in 2 phones. My cousin is having the same issues in the same area. The issues disappear when we leave the area.

It's like a clicking noise. Sometimes it's from the start of a call (before the other party picks up even), sometimes it only starts after a minute. Affects both incoming and outgoing calls, even calls to 100. Please investigate, report and remedy ASAP.

Cell C is looking damn tempting. They're cheaper, they've given me fewer problems lately, and I can actually use my phone on their network, unlike on your network at the moment. I'll give you till, let's say, Wednesday before porting. Not much time, yes, but I can't use my damn phone at all!
 
I suspect that you're right, but I'll give them a day or two.

You have similar issues?

Yep, dropped calls, answer the phone when it rings, and there's just nothing. Sometimes try as many as 3 times to make a call that actually connects. Naturally, the phone is blamed. Moving to MTN in December.

Having the exact same issue with MTN.. Move to America.
