Calling machine vision boffins

Hi my machine vision/image processing skills are totally rusted up and I need someone to assist on developing a machine vision app.

A few things. Image segmentation, blob extraction & character recognition. On the PC its relatively easy with AForge etc but I need it to be app based as well... Couple of ideas I am working on....

There are a few libraries for OCR that you could use, i'll mail a friend of mine he did his thesis on some very fancy GPU related image stuff, maybe he can help out.

I've used pure opencv, and emgu which basically wraps opencv. Check it out at http://www.emgu.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

There are versions for android and ios as well.
