Calling Pada, Archer and the other gurus

Do you get any 32" T.V screens with a 2ms response time at a reasonable price?

I'm sorry to disappoint you xeo57, but I haven't had first hand experience with the differences between the monitors.

I'm very tempted to test Black Ops @ 1920x1080 on my dad's Samsung 32" TV (LA32C630K1R: 1920x1080 @ 100Hz).

It really depends what kind of games you intend to play on it. At the moment I'm sitting about a foot from my 24" monitor and it's about as big as I can use comfortably for regular PC use. Ok I could probably go up to 27 and still pull through :p but ykwim - there's an optimal size when you're using a keyboard and mouse, and doing productivity tasks on, where any bigger becomes a strain on the eyes. And most PC games are made to be played up close - they have small characters and icons, and use the keyboard extensively. Whereas a console game is optimized to be played from a bit more of a distance.
