Camera as present. Suggestions?

Called 2 branches alread can't find a pink or Red one :(

I'm sure you will get a red Canon A480 - maybe check if a shop close to you have stock on them ?

Will have to drive after work closest shop is 80km away :(
Sigh O why did pretty colours come into my life :o
 
A note about that Canon A480 - on closer inspection it turns out it doesnt have IS. Not sure how important that is to you but something to keep in mind.

aaargggh Would that be image stabalizer? Others in the same price bracket have them so might aswell have that. First the batteries now this... will teach me to wait until due day to buy presents :rolleyes:
 
I once ordered a Canon A460 from them, took two months to arrive (stock issues at Canon SA). So always call them before you order - they are very helpful folks and they will give you an honest answer.

I also ordered a Canon S5 IS from them (was on special) and after taking back the second one since it also had dead pixels I gave up on Canon. Yet their support and friendly service really was highly appreciated.

So next time you want to buy a camera, do it online through SAcamera.

Yeah i know it takes Sony crap-stick-duo TM. But they didnt have anything else in kissable pink... And i want a big kiss when i hand this baby over :D
 
So today is the big day then - let us know what she thinks of the camera.
