What camera bag does everyone use?

I'm looking at getting a new one soon...

Busy looking at the Lowepro Vertex 300AW or the Pro Runner 450AW...
The Vertex seems quite a bit more expensive than the Pro Runner, is it worth that much more?

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have that pro runner bag u listed above, I find it quite useful. It has a lot of space when u need to take a variety of things out, otherwise when I only take one body + a lens or two a have a smaller bag.

Lowepro will definitely be my choice too. Though so many choices in their range. I suppose it comes down to what you need to carry and how much of it. I do like the idea of being able to lug my laptop as well.

I got a Nikon camera set a few months back and came with a small bag (it's functional for the time being), so will probably looking for a new bag some time next year.

I've got the 450 and I love it. The vertex looks great but it would probably be overkill for me. It also depends on what gear you have or are planning on having in the near future.

Thanks for the pic Bwana - I know you're a Canon shooter but do you think it would be possible to have 2 bodies with 2 lenses (say a d700 with 70-200 and d200 with 17-35) on at the same time in the bag??

The above is how I configure it for sports. My normal layout is a 1Dmk3 with a 70-200 f/2.8 and the 7D with a 24-70 or 16-35 so there should be ample room if you flip the hoods.

Cool, thanks... And that's with both lenses on their respective bodies?

How does that fit in? The 70-200 is almost as tall as the 300mm (judging by the picture).

Sure is. :)

It's a couple of inches shorter and there's a bit of space between the 7D at the bottom and the divider.

And the bag is not too big to carry around all day?
Like say marching with protesters :D

The bag is fine . . . it's the gear that weighs you down. Fully laden, with a laptop etc, I'm looking at 25-30kg. :o

I went into a camera shop today to compare the 350AW and the 450AW and the 450AW is a bit too big for me IMHO...
