As mentioned previously in one of the threads, I would have had to start looking at a bigger case/bag for my camera and accessories. With my birthday coming up, imagine my surprise when I got this from my parents as an early birthday gift :D

Now I have all the "immediate" kit in the hard case, and all other accessories (chargers, extra batteries, CF cards, etc) in the backpak

2 qns - [-]what's the glass[/-] what lenses do you have in there and why dont you keep a lens on the body?

If there is one that you use more than all the others wouldnt it make sense to keep that on the body and reduce the chance of contamination?

Nice case btw - I've got one of those somewhere but atm I cant even remember what country it might be in. :o

EDIT - I got a little bit of fluff on the piece the below the viewfinder and through an rather unfortunate series of events have basically trashed it. :o

Glass? I don't see a glass ... Are you referring to the grey/white matter top right? That's a 28-90 lens from my EOS 300 SLR.

I decided to go with not keeping the lens on, as at any given point I am not sure which one I will use ... it is mostly the 300, but lately I have to switch to the "glass" as a result of 3 year olds loving close proximity picture taking :D

18-55 USM that I got with the kit assembled
Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS Image Stabilizer USM Autofocus Lens
Me thinking about getting the straight f/4 version of the 70-300. (sans IS of course)

Apparently a very nice lens. I am still looking for adapters for those damn Solinor lenses I have at my parents' place

Maybe - is Solinor Russian?
