Hi there.
I'm battling with a brand new, spik splinternuwe DG834G v4.
This thing or Telkom drops the connection. We 1st had a v3 router on the same line and the exact same thing happened.
When viewing the logfile, it is clear that the router has rebooted. I find it hard to beliew that it is because of a power dip as this router is connected to a UPS.
So, can a line drop cause a rooter to reboot? It has happened twice this morning and now I cannot even remotely reboot the rooter; something that sometimes helps to get the VPN up and running again.
Telkom will be at the router tomorrow to have a go at the line for the 3rd time. Something which is also very funny, is that the line drops every evening round at about 20:00.
I will appreciate any help.
Regards,
Deon
