I have 3-phase electricity to my home.
A couple of weeks back Johannesburg Electricity lost the plot - sorry, the red phase & the neutral - to our street. Bottom line: 380V continued to feed down the remaining phases, reducing my home theatre (amongst other things) to a smoking pile of melted components.
The S-PVR was one of the units blown.
Question: could the over-voltage cause damage to the dual LNB ?
If there is any possibility of damage I would like to add a new LNB to the insurance claim ...
