What is the situation regarding Iburst blocking p2p? For the last couple of weeks I have been unable to download anything from file sharing programs. Are they completely blocking the downloading of all mp3 and video files etc. I notice that with Ares I get nothing downloaded, is the problem on their side, or is it Iburst blocking traffic?

uhm... there are several threads on this subject. You'd be well advised to read these threads, particularly the one entitled "iSquashedp2p"

But to answer your question they are blocking p2p traffic it appears. Torrents for example, will connect and show good S/L ratios but no downloading or uploading takes place it just sits there.
