Can Datashare be used in conjunction with Dual Sim?

Can someone give me a definitive answer based off of personal experience, yay or nay if Datashare can be used in conjunction with Dual Sim on an Mtn contract?

I have a sinking feeling I am just grabbing at straws and the answer is no. I have a Mtn Choice contract with a linked dualsim which works 100%, I successfully activated Datashare on the main sim and confirmed it was activated but when checking earlier today they say the system still shows the Datashare as only pending a week later.

I can't add numbers to Datashare via Ussd, it says contact support to activate Datashare.

The answer is yes!!!

Almost deactivated my dual sim, called Mtn call center, they confirmed Datashare was activated then I put the main sim into a phone for a last try, via ussd it still gave an activation error when trying to add a number.

Last ditch effort, opened the mymtn app to see if I could try there, was forced to update to the latest app version. I went to the Mtn services tab, Datashare, said not active, activated it, sms received, added my prepaid number, sms received on that number, Internet still not working, put it into airline mode then online again - INTERNET WORKING!!!
