can dial out any numbers with *

So i got this unlocked verizon phone it worked fine in sa with vodacom data plan etc, now i swopped and put cell c and i can dial numbers except the *147# (to set up bis) or *101# to check airtime etc, it says disconnected as soon as i dial that, so i cant set up my bis on this phone and its frustrating me.

Can anyone assist?

for the second problem, ask cellc call center to activate bis.

i have the same problem. Fone from verizon. It worked on voda but i cant set it up on cell c. Even thou i was told its unlocked for mtn, vodacom and cell c. Did u get yours to work?

I suggest trying to reload the os or take it to a store.
