Can E220 modem be used to dial 808?

Hi,

Is it possible to use a Huawei E220 modem to dial 808, hear the voice prompts via the PC speakers, and then type in the options via the keyboard?

If so, what do I need?

808 - MTN contract, I presume?

afaik it is not possible to do any kind of voice call via the E220. To reach 808 you'd need to move the SIM into a phone.

Other ways of getting your MTN contract balance info: None that I know of. No web site, no SMS, no USSD.

MTN prepaid has much better facilities ... makes you wonder.
