Can I do this?

Hi everyone,

I would just like to know if i can chop the CEE 7/7 plug off of a laptops power brick and replace it with a normal 3 pin plug, the reason being is that my socket at home isnt earthed and it wont fit.

If the item is still in warranty, you will invalidate the warranty should the power supply or laptop fail.
