Can I get a domain name back?

At the end of last month I cancelled a domain that I've had with Afrihost for a while and registered a new domain name with you.
Unfortunately I have discovered that I still need the cancelled domain name but when I went to try and re register it with Afrihost it tells me that it's taken, even though it wasn't a very common name, so I doubt if it has been grabbed by someone else.
Is it possible to check on your systems to see if the domain could be got back, I'm hoping it's not available because it still thinks it's in my name.

Okay, can someone tell me how I can have the above thread deleted please?
