Basically, is it possible to have two service providers to the same house?

Cause I was also looking at that axxess deal and got me wondering the same thing...

Right now, we on SAOL, but its my fathers work line, so we cant really use it too much (games downloads etc) up until the end of the month.

So is it possible to add another router, but with the ISP to axxess? So that

Is it possible?

You have more than one router?

The router needs to be set to bridge mode. This will allow you to create 'dial-up ADSL accounts', using your ISP user name and password, in your operating system.

To add a new router that stores your ISP details will require a new line I think.

You can use multiple accounts on one router set to bridge mode.

One router per line. They both use the same frequencies, so it won't work (Would be like two people trying to talk over a phone at the same time).

You can use more than one account on a single router though. The total line speed will be unchanged though. You can also change accounts every time, but that would be a bit of a schlep.
