Can I ship electronics from overseas?

I want to ship a google nexus 7 its about $210 in the usa I tried buying it from amazon but they say electronics cant be shipped outside the usa does this count for all electronic items or is there an E-commerce site that will allow me to do this?
Also how much would I pay all in all if I was able to do this I mean shipping ,courier etc(rough estimate)

Where could I buy a nexus 7 that I could ship here or would it be cheaper to just buy it here its about R3500 here. In the US its about $210 * 8 = 1680. What should I do will the shipping price make it not worth it?
