Hi,

I don't know if this topic was discussed prior and do apologise.

I want to connect three PS3's in the same room with 12 Dual Shock Controllers.

If so, How does the Dual Shock Controller know which PS3 to link up too and what is the wireless distance from the PS3.

Any help will be appreciated.

As far as i remember you have to connect the controller to the PS3 with the cable before it will work.
So it should link it to that PS3. But not 100% sure.
As far as connecting the PS3's to each others. Don't think that can be done.

As far as I'm aware each console has their own ID (speaking from my Wii and Xbox experience). When you synchronize a controller to a console that controller is told to look for the console's ID. You shouldn't have any problems if you set up the PS3s one at a time.

No!! Ps3s are like Siamese fighting fish. Put more than one in a room and they will rip each other to shreds. They are best kept seperate in small dark rooms.

hahahaha! I would do it then just to see it happen!

you connect the controllers to the PS3 via the usb cable to register it to that ps3.
I have two PS3s in one room and they dont get mixed up with controllers...I do :)

why 3 PS3's ? Whit 2 PS3's you be abel to use 14 controlers or are you after 3 consoles playin 3 diff games ?

You can get 3 PS3's in a room... but can you get 3 PS3 players in the same room ? Make sure you can get all their heads in at once.

On a serious note... I have LAN'ed 4 PS2's in a room before, it was insane to set up but great once it was working.
