Hey folks,
I hope somebody can help me.

Is there a way I can get my cellphone (iPhone 6) to use the internet from my computer ? I've got my internet plugged into my desktop via ethernet cable, and soon I want to turn my Wi-Fi off, and my iPhone uses Wi-Fi.

Of course, the iPhone uses it's own usb cable to connect to a desktop usb port, however I want my iPhone to feed off the internet from my desktop.

Is it possible ?

Thanks for any help

Why disable WiFi though..? You are complicating things for seemingly no good reason..

I want to live without wifi in the house.

No.

Not sure it’s possible with an iPhone 6.

You will see zero benefit of any kind, living without WiFi in the house..

Might as well get rid of your microwave too, and your remotes for your garage door and or gate.. even newer TVs are now coming with Bluetooth remotes, so be careful of those too..

You forgot about the radiation he pumps into his brain every time he uses said iPhone…

But alas for everyone else in this thread, I am going to curse it by proving OP with a solution.

Going via the desktop will not work. That will require huge amounts of software that neither iPhone nor PC has.
What you can do is simply get a Lightning to ethernet adapter, then plug your phone into the wired network. You might need an additional network switch though.
