Can Networking + and Security + get me a job ?

Hi !

I am IT university drop out.

I am self studying towards Comptia N+ after that will add Security + and or Server + and Linux +. All this must be done by June 2018. It just came to my attention that AWS certified solutions architect could be a better certificate to get a job. Will Networking + and AWS certified solutions architect be a better combination ?

Currently i am working in marketing and IT but more into marketing. IT that i am doing is just basic stuff like updating website and uploading files on web server.
 
My advice being on your side and now building up to employ individuals such as your self, do not rely solely on the piece of paper. Yes it does help, but rather gain as much experience as you can.
Pick something and do it. Don't do what I did and bounce between different things and end up doing nothing years later.

Khan academy & code academy offer intro to programming courses which might be worth doing, then pick java or c or something & go a little bit further. I'm not even in IT and I've found the little bit I know to be useful, especially when talking to people who code. Grok the basic syntax etc. Imo you need a broader knowledge.
 
When i say i know "some python" i mean like 50%. Like you i have used codecademy, python for dummies, How to think like a computer scientist, etc I know how to use most of the packages in python. I am not a beginner, that is for sure. Come to think of it i am just lacking workplace practice otherwise i am good. As for C and Java i learnt some stuff in University and if i am to delve into it again i would not struggle as much as i did back then.
