Can PS4 controller analog drift be fixed?

I bought two PS4 controllers second hand from Bid or Buy (I thought it would be better as those generic ones usually don't last too long).

I discovered that the controllers have drift issues and with one, the analog only moves up and down and not left and right. Is this fixable?

If it is fixable, I won't return it.

They can be replaced think its just over R100 each to buy the analog stick then you have to take the controller apart, desolder, resolder and put it back together. So a bit of work.

I'd rather not attempt this. Do you know how much it would cost for a pro to do it or would it be worthwhile?

I may as well just try and return it then if it will be hard to fix.
