Hi, all forumites.
I live in a security complex in Capetown Northern suburbs(Buh-rein) and have recently signed a contract with Amobia who is the sole telecommunications provider in the complex.
I have signed up for their 3mb uncapped package and have done a speed test or 2 on speedtest.net.

i have posted the latest result and would just like to find out if you guys think these are reasonable results for a 3mb uncapped fibre connection.

Is there any other info I need to post to get the best opinion/conclusion from anyone who is willing to comment?

No, that's definitely not reasonable for a 3Mbps account. It should be closer to what your upload is.

Did they mention anything about shaping/throttling or contention ratios?

Hi, thanx for the input.I did ask them about shaping/throttling/traffic management, but am still waiting for answers.
Will pester them some more for answers

Quite welcome.

I'm not a huge fan of these providers who monopolise the infrastructure in an estate--you never really know what you're getting and chances are it'll be overpriced and below par.

They seem to be a primarily wireless provider.

I have logged a support ticket with them about the line and they have been in contact sorting the line.
Speeds are better,see below:

I have to admit that I have been impressed by the effeciency in the support team.
