Whats your current sync rate? if its currently +- 384 then I doubt it

My stats:

Line att (dwn) - 63.5
Line att (up) - 31.5
SNR (dwn) - 6
Snr (up) - 8

I'm currently syncing at 1484Kbps (dwn) and 480 Kbps (up) albeit with a few disconnects a week. When I was on a 1Mbps line with a Duoplus 300WR modem I had to restart the modem at least twice a day.

With the Netgear modem I can sync higher and I disconnect maybe once a week.

You'll get a more stable connection on 384k but 1Mb is possible.

If thats a 384k line then those are some seriously dodge stats. Is this guy like 4k from the exchange or something?

I'm inclined to say that it'll work, but drop frequently. I recon ask telkom to drop it till its stable. Prob round 0.7. With 1mbps being the lowest price option you don't really have anything to lose.

Its currently raining with a thunderstorm, no disconnects and speeds are still fine.

I am however on ADSL 2+ modulation.

So id say with those stats you could get 1mbit, but try push for an ADSL2+ sync
