Can we pre book installation dates yet?

My client filled in their 30 day cancellation with supersonic yesterday as Zoom Fibre is live in their area. They dont want any downtime and they dont want to double pay for anything.

Is it possible to book an installation for the 1st of October and hopefully they get online by the afternoon? I know this wasnt possible in the past, just wondering if its possible now or I have to get a Rain SIM for them for a few days

Tell your client to be reasonable and not expect YOU to ensure stuff that is out of your control.

Secondly: the answer is no it is not possible as all these installations and services are best effort.

Get them prepaid LTE...NOT the most unreliable service ever aka RAIN.

Its hard to explain simple IT things to him.

Im guessing the lead time is 2 weeks? Then I guess I'll have to play a game of musical chairs on choosing which date to send in the install application.

Rain 24/7 LTE worked well a few months ago on the location, averaged around 8mbps down and 5mbps up. Heres to hoping the network didnt get too congested there
 
I think the billing only starts once you get the router from CI, which gets sent after installation. It might be possible to have the installation done and ask for the account to be activated at the end of the month only?

This.
Worst case start with the lowest package, install line 1 week before and upgrade. Upgrades are done 1 hour to 2 days time.

It does but the line is billed to us as soon as it's installed so typically we send the router at the same time as we get confirmation of the install. As mentioned I would work on the 2 week thing and maybe start with the cheapest package.

client is happy with a 4 meg until month end till month end which is when supersonic is cancelled.

I booked an install on friday for my client. Install happened on Sunday. Router arrived and is running 100%.

Quick question. how long does a speed upgrade request takes to process and when should I request it so that im only billed for the new line speed in October?

So long as its a week day, the upgrade takes about a day.

You can also ask them to upgrade the speed from 1 October.
