Can you accurately Taste the Difference?

so to get back to the idea that I wanted to ask

can you Taste the Difference (blindfolded) between Pepsi and Coke?
or for that matter ANY Brand name and NO name Brand, like Cheese or Beer?
no name brand cheese or brand name cheese

Myself, I honestly cant tell the Difference between Coke and Pepsi, Both are Black, both are sweet,

but to clarify, if I try something like Kingsley or Spar cola, I can tell that is no name brand.

I absolutely love that you misspelled accurately :D

Pepsi tastes more like the Cola flavoured lollipops than coke.

The problem with Colas in general people think like this

All Colas should taste like Coke.

If Cola does not taste like Coke it causes cognitive dissonance and people equate it to taste bad.

Coke vs. Pepsi - definitely. Prefer Pepsi.

One brand's cheddar vs. another brand's cheddar - definitely not, unless either is Lancewood's, which has the texture of plastic.

Beer - all of them taste like ***, so probably not.

Yes. At least I could many years ago.

Won't touch Pepsi now. Not since I and my family got frogmarched out of a CWC game in Centurion for drinking Coke.

Disregards the commercial rules, blames the rules, boycotts the brand.

:crylaugh:

They weren't even selling Coke at those matches, so you obviously disregarded that rule as well (bringing in drinks from outside not being permitted).

Between Coke and Pepsi yes definitely.
I could even taste the difference between Cream Soda after they changed it to comply with sugar tax regs, this was before I read about them changing it.

Pepsi and Coke, easy to tell the difference. Cheese, not so much - but thats also because i very rarely eat just plain cheese - its usually in a sandwich or on Macaroni etc.

Pepsi and Coke - yes I can taste the difference
Cheese - not so much. Agree on lancewood, that just taste horrible.
Beer - can taste the difference between black label, castle, castle lite, amstel and heineken. Budweiser taste just horrible.

Cant differentiate between the other makes of cola - except knowing that it is not Pepsi/Coke.

Agreed, I rarely add Pepsi to those as well.

Can easily taste the difference. Used to only drink Pepsi Max then switched to Coke Zero. Can't stand Pepsi or normal Coke any more.

just to clarify guys,

blindfolded, IE you cant see anything.
and I put them into the same glass, and let you try,

you can honestly tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi?

Why is that so hard to believe? If I'm blindfolded, I'll still hate the Coke taste, and still like the Pepsi taste - that's how I'll know. Why would a blindfold change that?
