The requirements isn't the problem here. I think most of us are worried about the port to PC. The first game was one of the worst PC ports I've ever played and I've played them all.

On a side note I just finished Dark Souls last week. And I started playing kingdoms of Amalur. Even on hardest it's like child's play by comparison.

I think the correct question should be: "Can your keyboard and mouse handle/survive Dark Souls 2?"
Judging from the little bit I played of the 1st Dark Souls, this can be a controller/mouse/keyboard eater of a game.
