Cancel ADSL?

Hi,

I don't have a contact on ADSL and can cancel whenever I want. Luckily, as I'm moving on the 1 May 2007 and need to cancel by the end of this month.

I contacted them earlier and was told to fax a letter whenever I'm ready. But now that I think of it, isn't there a 30 day notice or something? Or is it instant?

Urgh ... I hate their call centre agents. I specfically said I needed to do it now as I was sure there was a notice period - SHE then said 'you do it whenever you need ...'. In fact, the chat was something like this ...

you better specify a date and then hope they don;t cut it early.. they like doing that.
