Cancel Contracts

I wanted to know if it is possible to convert from a contract phone to a prepaid one and still keep you number ?

Indeed it is, usually you just need to send them an email

as long as your initial contract period has ended and your on a month to month basis, then you can port your number

And if it is with Autopage they will send you a SMS confirmation the next day, then when you phone them up 3 weeks later they say that they have not received your email, you log some queries, get a confirmation, then next month they still keep you on contract. You phone them back, they say they are cancelling it and you later learn nothing has been done. 78 days later, you write bitter posts about them.

Seems to be the norm with all SP's. Had the same problem with Nashua mobile.
