Cancel Telkom line

Hey all.

I'm tying to cancel my Telkom line as I am moving home at the end of the month and will no longer need it.

I've called them up and it just leads to no where, live chat leads to no where.

How on earth do I cancel this Telkom line???
 
Download the cancelation application form and FAX IT to the number on the top, so someone has to physically handle it. I did this and PM'd the Telkom rep here who confirmed the application was processed. No problems whatsoever

Okay, so I did this and I set a PM to TelkomZA and got no reply yet.

Why do I feel like this is going to be a huge struggle... I hope they realise that I will only be paying my phone line for this month and will be refusing to pay any more if they take long to cancel.

He's only online every few days, and is quite on the ball, so have patience Young Padawan :)
 
He is very efficient, but usually takes around 1-2 days to respond to messages :)
 
Nothing has been installed or given to me after my application was approved, the technician only cut a wire and it is still lying on the ground where he left it 3 weeks ago.

How do i cancel the order now? the form linked to above is for an existing account plus device, neither of which i have?

I am having the SAME issue.

truth is, Telkom doesn't give a ***. I've filled out the form in-store, been phoning and pushed around tech, sales and billing. The online chat is useless. Went back to the store, being told that they cannot help me at all and made me use one of their telkom phones to contact support. The only thing we can do is boycott and advise others to boycott. Idk if my adsl will ever get cancelled at this rate. They just keep on telling me that "your request has not been captured"

I have been out of internet for over 6 weeks now. I don't know who to fight with anymore.
