Cancelling Afrihost line bundle

So I've been on the Afrihost 4Mb business uncapped line bundle for the past few years, Vumatel is installing fibre on Friday so I have put through a cancellation request on the portal today. what happens to the ADSL line? Does Afrihost cancel it or do they transfer it back?

If someone from AH could please confirm if I still need to cancel with Telkom or if AH will do it?
 
Maybe you should just PM one of the Afri-reps?
They'll be able to tell you exactly what you need to do -and maybe even assist in the process a little. ;)
 
Either way - put the cancellation in today - if you do it tomorrow you will still be billed for December...

Thought a thread would be useful for anyone who has similar queries but I will PM them.

I already cancelled it yesterday.

You will need to please cancel the DSL Account and DSL Line separately in the ClientZone. Once the DSL line has been cancelled you will need to cancel the Voice line portion directly with Telkom. :)

Ah thanks, I cancelled from the app and didn't see an option for the line part, saw it on the desktop site so I have cancelled both.
 
cancelled my promotional package 28/11 and being informed that it would only end 31 January 2017? WTF?? since when do you need to give 60 days notice? Afrihost turned into thieves indeed.

If you cancelled on the 28th of November the cancellation should be effective from the 31st of December. Could you PM me your username and I'll check what's going on.
