So I just got a job offer and will be moving to CPT in Jan.

According to my billing, my metro fiber line became active on 3rd June.

Looking at the terms there's a cancellation fee of R999 if cancelled before 6 months.

The Question is, since there's a calendar month cancellation is the fee due if I cancel by end Dec, then of course pay for Jan due to the notice?

I can't use the relocation option yet since I will be staying in temp residence for 2 months before getting a place which I can relocate the line to.

I also intend to rent my place out so I have to cancel to give a tenant the line for their use.

Don't know what else I can do.
Will be using afrihost wherever I go since I have other accounts with Afrihost.

Hi,

Can you drop me a pm with your email address so I can have a look at the cancellation fee date and advise accordingly.

We usually waive the fee on relocations if you take fibre at the new place but since you won't be signing up for a new line we might not be able to waive it.
