Hi,
Hoping someone can advise on the best route for this.
I am looking to get Telkom's LTE due to the 20+ faults that get logged every year with this ADSL, and 2 week average resolution times, been without phone or internet now for 2 weeks due to the strikes...anyway.
What would the best option be to cancelling the ADSL line, and probably voice as well.
These seem to be the 2 options.
1. Unbundle the line via afrihost clientzone, i assume this moves the line back to telkom but keeps the data active and once that is done, cancel directly with telkom? Is there any downtime when this happens and how long does it take? Can i expect billing issues as well?
2. Cancel the line via clientzone, not sure what the difference is between option 1, other than perhaps afrihost log the cancellation on your behalf once the line has moved?
I hear lots of stories about billing issues so am thinking option 1 might be the safest, perhaps move the line to telkom, ensure billing is good then cancel with telkom?
