CANNOT Cancel account

Hi does anyone know the process or have the form to cancel iburst? I've called the call centre and first they tell me that I can download a cancellation form off the website, then when I told them there is no document on the website they changed the story and said there is no form to fill in and in order to cancel we have to submit a email to the [email protected]

Mails going to this address never get's read or followed up on...

So short of driving to iburst's offices and bashing in the first poor sod's head in, lets save some time.

How would I cancel an iburst account and ensure that the account will be terminated on the said month.

Contract, where?

He hasn't actually said that he's in a contract yet, has he?

As far as I see, this is more about them running around in circles because the iburst staff don't know the cancellation process. They should atleast know how people can cancel accounts by now, seeing as they've probably had quite a few cancellations. ;)
 
Hi apologies for the late reply to this thread, site has been down.

The contract was over about a year ago and is currently on a month to month basis, I know for a fact there was a cancellation form which I obtained from Iburst themselves when I cancelled my iburst a year ago.

The reason why I created this post was due to the frustration I've received from their so called "support" and "accounts"
NO ONE in their support call centre can resolve a problem with the connection - my problem being: I cannot upload anything to the internet i.e. I receive packets but I cannot send any, thus I cannot do windows updates, send emails etc.
There's a possibility the modem has gone for a ball of chalk but after 5 calls placed to their support center I get the response there is nothing wrong...


P.S thanks OnePostWonder, but looking at that letter, it's invalid as they have moved offices to Alice Lane... it's not longer in parklane

i called and was on hold for 15 mins... once they said you are going through to retentions .. he hung up in my ear.. his name was saun and he was a nab second time.. i waited 32 minutes in the que without answer just a ****ty song.. when i got through. o sorry we cannot help you because our system is down
