Since returning from overseas I have been unable to connect to Edge/GPRS ony my MTN sim.(I get the error "the remote party has ended this connection")
Also when I dial voicemail I get the error " the number you have dialled is invalid". I am also unable to access call forwarding or any other network service from my phone.
DrData has been great in assisting me previously but it seems he is offline now- I need to connect urgently so if anyone knows what the problem is I would greatly appreciate the help.

I've been using this sim for almost 2 years and never had a problem before this.

no...if the settings have changed how can i correct them?

Hi

I had a look at your number. There seems to be an issue. Please check the PM I sent you.

Regards
DD

Thanks DD

For you guys wanting to know there is apparently a suspension on my data from Autopage. The branch I got my contract from is apparently unaware of this and are trying to figure out what's going on. God help them. Autopage are useless.

still seems strange that there is a suspension on the account- why am I allowed to make calls then?

It's now 6 days and I still can't connect. Autopage don't care!!!
Really don't know what to do now.
Can soeone please send me MTN settings so I can try to manually re enter all the details as over the air doesn't work cos of my data problem.

My EDGE doesn't work either now. Since 3 days ago actually and I'm on iTalk aka MTNSP. Probably a network/system glitch.

Thanks for the assistance, but seems it came back earlier this morning on my way to work. I'm not too fussed when my inet dies. Just use it randomly to connect to irc. Thanks anyways :D
