Hi Guys

Im experiencing a weird problem. I have two data sims (Vodacom & Cell C) that refuse to work in my Asus LTE Tablet. Do i need to get a special sim card for these 3g data sims to work on my tablet. I've tried everything, it keeps giving me an error saying "incorrect APN". Do i need to get a special sim card to get the broadband to work on my tablet?

BTW i've tried these data sims in my tablet and they work perfectly.

Help,,,,,

No, you need to configure your APN settings correctly.

Contact the relevant call centre and request the APN settings from them.

@NabbieM since you say it is LTE! Make sure the tablet is compatible with Vodacom&Cell C network it could possibly only work on Telkom Mobile Network, have you tried changing the network mode to 3G/2G on the tablet! Try that method and see if you able to get any glory to connect to the network!

I am using a Telkom LTE router but the router only works with Telkom mobile LTE network, manually have to change settings(network mode:3g) to be able to use CELL C/Vodacom.
