Hi

I have a bit of a problem. I have a Casio EX-Z16 digital camera, with a 2gb memory card. I have about 200 photos on it, which I can view just fine on the camera itself.

However when I try to connect it via USB cable or read the memory card on the pc, I cannot view the photos. The only way to view it on a pc, is to copy the photos onto the camera memory, via the camera itself and then viewing it through usb cable. So I think the card is corrupt.

I've download XYplored, to find the photos on the memory card, but they're in .chk format. Is there any way to convert these photos top .jpg? Or a fix to my issue?

can you download directly from the camera to .jpg format?

.chk means that scandisk has been involved (meaning something went wrong with the FAT)

No.

I found a program that can convert .chk to .jpg, but only a few photos actually converted correctly. I guess the only way is to copy the photos to the built-in via the camera, and the copying it to the pc. It will take time, but after that I'll format the card which will probably prevent this issue.
