Cannot manage KSTAR UPS UA150/200 is software

Hi All
I’ve download v5.4 software on my laptop to connect to my UPS. All drivers installed etc , However selecting the megatech usb option,the software fails to pickup my UPS ? When I try megatech com 3 option , it says connected however nothing happens when changing the settings. Unplugging the cable still shows as connected on the software, when it’s not. i want to turn the 10s beep via the software.
Any guidance help will be highly appreciated.

I had the same issue with both my KSTARs. No matter what I did my Win 10 PC failed to pick up the ups via the usb connection. I eventually just dug out my old Win 7 laptop, installed the UPSilon software, changed connection type to USB, connected my ups and it connected 1st time with no issues... I was then able to disable the annoying beeps. (Note just click once on those weird buttons, they don't change shape/color after you disable them to indicate that it's on or off)

Hope you're like me and still have an older windows laptop/pc around that you just don't want to get rid of for some reason, and that this works for you as well. Let me know!
