Cannot open Epic Games store or Ubisoft

So I can't seem to login or use the Epic Games launcher or Ubisoft launcher on my PC when using my Rain 5G Premium.
I also can't even access their websites using the URLs ubisoft.com or epicgames.com. It just hangs on both my PC and on my phone when using Rain 5G.

Tried restarting router and restarting PC, doesn't help.

Used my phone as a hotspot using the Vodacom network and it works perfectly for the launchers and URLs.


What's going on ?
 
This is on Rain 5G, Epic launcher at the top just hangs and Ubisoft launcher can't connect :

Hi. I have sent it. It's a weird issue because the other launchers I use (Steam, Battle.net, Rockstar Games) work fine and when I perform a speedtest it doesn't show any apparent issues.
 
I have rain 4g and I can't play Apex legends today, it was fine up until yesterday. It works fine with other networks

I can now add that the below websites do not open for me at all when using my Rain 5G router across devices :

zoom.us
yahoo.com
quora.com
who.is
nih.gov
motorsport.com

They all work fine on a Vodacom hotspot on the same devices. I don't know if this is a tower issue or bigger but it is definitely a problem

This problem started again today, Can't connect to Apex legends servers...
 
Sounds like a DNS issue to me. Are you in KZN by any chance? With the recent storm, things aren't working properly.

Also, are you using Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8, 8.8.1.1)?
 
Rain shape Epic Store (and Steam) so badly during the day that Epic will battle to launch - it'll just cripple your network. Try late at night.

Nonsense.

I consistently achieve 45-50mbps on Steam, regardless of time of day.

On rain LTE it will. We've never been able to open Epic during the day - at night time no issues. Steam will launch during the day, but any attempts at updating anything - will start at 4-5Mbs, but will soon drop to 0.2-0.5Mbs. Just wish we had 5G cover.
