What a shame, FX currency purchases on Revolut are being rejected when using a Capitec card. Called Capitec, they say they're not allowing these transactions anymore. Anyone else experience this?

Use Shyft, it's owned by Standard Bank and you pretty much get the rate. I think most banks or investment places charge around 2% + fees. Shyft is around 0.5% as far as I know..

But Capitec is amazing and magical and and lol.

I reloaded my Revolut account 6 times in the last 2 weeks from Nedbank and Standard - no issues.

It’s 0 on Revolut.

And I don’t mean Revolut to Revolut, in weekdays it’s 0% fee to send to ANYbank from a Metal account and above.

Need to send money to a revolut user
You can try a global payment but will have to use your discretionary.(to your Rev’s IBAN)

If I do a global/SWIFT payment from Nedbank to Revolut it takes about 4h. Unfortunately Nedbank does charge fees :( all South African banks charge fees to a SWIFT payment.

For whatever reason, it didnt work. Tried buying GBP on Revolut using my Shyft ZAR virtual card, the transaction got denied.

Oh you mean doing a straight international transfer from Shyft to Revolut?

Good day, is Revolut a good platform to buy Iraqi Dinar with ZAR, if at all possible?
