Canon 100D bundle

Hello All, is the canon 100D twin lense 18/55 & 75/300 kit at R5500 a good deal? DC lenses

I don't now much, but so far:

I bought the 600D a while back with those same lenses. Camera is really cool, very easy to use and fiddle with the settings and in auto you cannot make a mistake.

I like 18/55 lens, I feel its very versatile, I took a couple of nice macro shots and some cool shots of my dog. The lack of IS is a bit of an issue for me, I don't have steady hands, so I cannot really use the 300 without a tripod. Also I found on max zoom the 75/300 lens has some pretty wild chromatic abrasions.

I am sure someone will pop in shortly with proper feedback

Go grab a 650D bundle with 50mm , 18-55 & 75 - 300 lenses. Well worth the bit extra.

u dont really need a tripod to use the 300, if you set the shutter speed approx twice the focal length then you would most likely get clear shots, you only need tripods if you need your shutter speeds to be longer i.e in case you want a smoother or like car lights dragging effects

Ah cool, will have another go at this, thus far I have only used the 300 in auto mode in bright light otherwise I stuff up too much.
