Generally the newer cameras are discussed, I know. Are there any 20D owners around?
View on the battery grip E2N?

I have a D20. Awesome camera. Just can't afford the accessories right now. My wishlist includes the battery grip, Wireless remote, f2,8 70-200 IS lense, 50mm macro lense. Once I get all this stuff all I'll have to do is learn how to take half decent fotos. :D

Maybe you're doing it bass-ackwards? :D

I have a 20D with the Battery grip, which gives the camera a bit more body, and LOTS of battery capacity

I bought a 20D a while back for 4K, but the more ppl I ask the more it sounds like the accesories r very expensive. I have the basics sort of, but started selling it as tehy are pre-digital.
I am sorted with the lenses but decided to follow my mates advice and slowly work towards a collection of Canon L range lenses. It takes time though, he has a couple but it took the best part of 5-7 years to buy them.

I mostly shoot with 40D and or 350D, depending on location etc etc. But sold the 350D and bought a 20D with low actuations. I dont want to another 40D now, simple economics.....

Had a 350D, the framerate is freakin slow and I use it often. Its like having two cars...

So I decided to sell most of the things associated with the 350D as well as the 350. I had to fork out an additional R200 from the proceed to get a 20D.

I wa looking at a battery grip and maybe a Delkin lcd cover. but they are priced at the same as the 40d's which makes it pointless. dont want to really spend money on it... its old already.

I still don't get why you bought a 20D if you already had a 40D? Or is it a backup body for the 40D?

That and for my mother to visit in October :)

Aah, logistics :)

I'm as happy as a pig in mud with my 40D. But there's *one* thing that would make me drop £1000 on the next body right now - if it had better dynamic range. I'm really getting sick of losing all detail in overcast skies for the sake of exposing the rest of the picture properly.

Hmmm . . £1000 on a new camera . . . £50+ on a ND/NDG filter . . . or 30 seconds in PS3 - I know which one I wouldnt choose :D

Fair enough for the filter, but how to you replace missing details in PS3?
I guess the thing to do is not to overexpose too much in the first place - you can adjust the exposure in post unless you've completely blown it out.

Well, I try my best to expose the subject of the image as correctly as possible. Weather you underexpose or overexpose slightly, you always lose detail at either end. If I take the same shot with film I get more details than I can push out in PP.
