Acquired a second hand Canon 350D body, 18-55mm lense with cover, ND filter, polarising filter, 1GB CF card, 2 batteries and a charger.

Require the following:
USB cable;
CF Card reader;
4 or 8 GB CF card;
Tripod;
Bag (for all of above).

Budget: ~ R1500.

Preferable all in one place.

Thanks.

The USB cable is pretty standard. Are you sure you don't have one lying around?

350D doesn't really require a card that is that fast.

You really don't need a USB cable for the 350D, if you can get a CF card reader (I got one off ebay for R20) it's faster than the USB connection on the 350D.

A faster card might be nice, I know I regularly full up my 350D's tiny buffer and the burst shots start getting slower, but it depends on what you're going to be shooting. I have two 4GB cards, each takes about 1200 photos in full def JPG.
