I was just thinking the other day that one of my 400Ds was sounding clunky . . .
 
Thats not a bad price at all.. so it will be about R15k at least in local shops, after they add their Rip-off margin :p
 
If this camera is in the R11 - R12k Range.. I think I will move across to Canon and get rid of my Sony.....
 
Mostly cos if I move across to Canon, I do get access to quite a few more lenses.... my friend has quite a few....

Plus Canon has a few features that my Sony, and the whole range itself seems to be lacking, that I would like.

Thinking about it now the 450D had the same MSRP and it goes for R9k so it shouldnt be much more than that once the initial hype settles down.

The 50D has hit SA shores and is going for R15,999.00 - body only - (SACamera). I wouldnt expect the T1i to be anywhere near that price though.
