Canon oem Grip VS generics

Is it really worth the extra money buying an oem canon grip vs generics ?

The generics :
How’s the Fitment ? Sits flush ?
Are they weather sealed ?
Any reasons not to get a generic version ?
Do they age well ? Example Fading over a short period.

I’ve never used the generics hence the above questions. Looking to get a grip for 7D Mk2.

I use the Pixel E16 grip. Probably 5 or more years old by now.

The joystick button can be a bit finicky at times but it basically works as advertised.
