But these weird numbers ...

Shutter speed

I know what a shutter is and the speeds But I'd guess 1/2500 sec to be the quickest and what is the highest ? 15 seconds?

// F2.8 - 3.4 refers to your aperture

Aperture is confusing for everyone - The smaller the number - in this case 2.8 - means the "hole" in your lens is larger and lets in more light to the sensor - the bigger the number means the "hole' in your lens is smaller and lets in less light. It also deals with Depth of field.

Yea I was gonna say I'd rather not buy a camera with holes in the lens
