This is a weird one. I'm unable to connect to certain services (Netflix, uPlay) while connected over my Vox ADSL account. It just times out. It's happening on all devices connected to the router, but it's fine when I connect over 3G. So I reset my router to factory default settings; still nothing. I tried a public DNS server 8.8.8.8; still nothing. Then I tried a different DSL account on the router (not Vox) and it works! Setting it back to Vox breaks it again.
I chatted to Vox tech support and went through the motions, and they went away and reset something on their end. After I reset my router again, it worked (with Vox). But a few days later, it stopped working again (nothing changed). It seems like it's specific to my Vox account - I'm assuming it's just me, but I don't have a different Vox account to test with.
resetting everything again tonight.
I used to use unoTelly but I've removed all trace of that; not sure if that's messed something up.
